Current state
The preproductions are not connected to the order tracking system of the production. Production is carried out from stock with relatively high stock levels.
Issue
Stock levels are too high for some types and too low for newer products due to a lack of experience.
Concept
RWP also connects the preproduction to the order tracking. This involves determining which parts are required for the individual products and for which pre-assembly they are produced. Orders are automatically created on the relevant lines with sufficient lead time. The user can also control the preproduction with a web application and specify minimum stock levels for the warehouse.
Result
Stock levels have been reduced significantly. In addition, the production always has enough units from the pre-assembly.
